Victor L. George is a trial attorney with over 20 years of jury trial experience. Mr. George’s clients have received numerous seven and eight fi gure jury trial verdicts in both catastrophic personal injury and employment discrimination / harassment cases. These include jury trial verdicts against many large corporations such as Walmart, Ford Motor Co., Fidelity, Los Angeles Metrolink, Kindred Healthcare and Starline Tours. Mr. George is a past recipient of the Trial Lawyer of the Year Award for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, having been nominated for that Los Angeles Trial Lawyer of the Year Award in ten of the past fi fteen years. Mr. George was also recently named the “2016 Southern California Lawyer of the Year” (Employment Law) by Best Lawyers magazine. Mr. George has been twice nominated for National Trial Lawyer of the Year for Public Justice.
In November 2016, Mr. George received a jury verdict of $26 million for the “loss of love” to the mother and father in the wrongful death jury trial of their 16-year-old son. This nonecomonic jury verdict is the largest wrongful death jury verdict for a minor in U.S. history. “Our commitment is to seek absolute justice for those who have been seriously injured or discriminated against,” says Mr. George. “We prepare every case as if it will be tried before a jury all the way through verdict. We have absolute faith in the jury system.”
Mr. George tries jury trials throughout the state of California, and is licensed to practice before all Courts in the State of California, the Central District of California, the Southern District of California, the Northern District of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. George opened the doors to the Law Offices of Victor L. George in 1990, and has been exclusively representing plaintiffs in employment discrimination and catastrophic personal injury matters ever since. He has been fighting to vindicate the rights of victims for over two decades.
